When asked, the average pet owner emphatically agrees that they would use a positive method of training if someone would just show them how!

The expressions on the faces of pet dog owners who use force are usually one of grim resignation.

No one enjoys popping their best friend with the leash, or yanking on their collar.

So how do we end up using correction-based training methods?

I believe the answer is,
we don’t know what else to do! No one has shown us that there is another way, and I promise you, there is.

Then there is the assertion "You can't train aggressive dogs using positive training-you are dooming them to certain euthanasia".

Not so fast~ studies show quite the opposite~
if you meet aggression with aggression, you are likely to get...surprise...more aggression!

To eliminate bad habits, you must change the underlying behavior...merely suppressing it is not enough.
